Radiohead frontman
Thom Yorke
recently made his views on the young star known.
In a recent interview with
Rolling Stone
, Billie Eilish’s tour manager Brian Marquis claimed that Thom Yorke praised the superstar after the pair met backstage. According to Marquis the former Crack Magazine cover star said, “I like Billie Eilish. She’s doing her own thing. Nobody’s telling her what to do.”
Marquis also claims that Yorke told Eilish: “You’re the only one doing anything fucking
interesting
nowadays.” Eilish’s brother and collaborator Finneas later said, “That’s the coolest thing anyone’s ever said to you.”
Yorke is not the only artist who’s recently praised the American singer.
Earlier this month
Tyler, the Creator said Eilish was “sick” and that he wants “to see what we could [do together].”
This week, it was revealed that Yorke will be contributing the track
Daily Battles
to the score of Edward Norton’s upcoming film
Motherless Brooklyn.
