This study focuses on the digital images which were filmed by digital cameras. Investigating the cases that the color preferences of image influenced of personal psychological factors. However, the psychological factors are many that can cause people subjectively aware of colors. Presently, the introduction of topics to “the color preference of image in different kinds of topics” and “the importance of relativity of psychological factors” are deficient. According to this, in this study conferring the effect on the results of the estimations of image colors by using a general way to discuss different factors such as diverse image categories and psychological factors. This study, at first, collected total of 81 image samples which including seven categories of image, for instance, portrait, man-made environment, scenery, objects at rest, animals, plants and food, all chosen by professional workshop and compiled from documents. In the part of design of questionary, six psychological factors were taken as important by researcher in the process of gathering documents and professional questionary. And ask interviewers to comply with the questionary of the six questions which edit base on these psychological factors and answer the questionary. In the end, I use the analysis of coefficient of variations to discuss the relations between psychological factors and color preferences of image. To expect to realize the relatively important orders of people’s psychological factors in estimating the color preference in the process of determine different kinds of image colors.

The result of the studies are as follows:
1. There are notable diversities when interviewers of different background estimating the color preference of image of objects at rest and plants, but no notable diversities in the other five categories of image colors. Therefore, the interviewers who live in city and in non-city areas are having the same estimation preferences standards generally in estimating the image colors of the other five categories.
2. During the process of estimating the interviewers’ color preferences in different categories of image, there are notable diversities of relativity importance of influences of psychological factors in the color preference of image. Compare to the whole factors, “memory color” is not taking as important no matter in the favorite colors or not when estimating image colors. “Color comfort” is taking as important when interviewers estimating having favorite colors in image. But, “color harmony” is an important factor when estimating non-Favorite colors in image.
3. Discussion of relations of interviewers the color preference of hues and images are found: there are no notable relations within personal color preference of hues and images. The results of the interviewers who like different hues in the estimations of color preference of image were generally the same. Therefore, when estimate the color preference of image, it is not proper to expect to infer the results of estimations of image colors of interviewers to the results of color preference of chips in the future.

The results of questionary are found that which psychological factors are taken as important by interviewers and these psychological factors also show the outcomes of the color preference of image by interviewers could influence. Therefore, it will have much more satisfactory results of image color-dealing to confer the relative research of image colors estimation and color-dealing which aim at the issues such as entire color harmony, color comfort, color saturation or different categories of images under the part of psychology in the future.
