We were staying in Amsterdam for one night and chose this hotel mostly due to the location and price. It’s located in a vibrant area, with a local market and only a few minutes walk from the Heineken Experience. It’s about a 30 minute walk to the city centre, or accessible via public transport. The hotel itself is pretty average, no frills, but well priced. The 4th floor is only accessible via steep stairs, so shouldn’t be booked by those less able. Our room was a decent size, with air con and an opening window. The room also included tea and coffee making facilities and two bottles of water. The staff were very friendly. The lady that checked us in changed our room free of charge as I had accidentally booked a room with two single beds instead of one double. We would definitely stay here again when in Amsterdam.

I stayed here for 2 nights. The room for one was teeny, as it is a converted canal house, but I knew this in advance, and it didn’t matter as it still had everything I needed; comfy bed, a clean and powerful shower and effective air con. I was surprised that there was housekeeping tidying my room on such a short stay! The hotel was very quiet. The receptionists were all friendly and helpful, giving me a map and guide to the city when I arrived. The hotel is in a great location; there is a tram stop just round the corner, with a larger interchange a few minutes’ walk away. One of the canals runs past the hotel, and there are many other canals nearby, perfect for a stroll and to soak up the beauty of the city. The museum quarter is a short walk away. There is also a huge market along the road opposite, and a number of fast food shops and a supermarket nearby. I really enjoyed my stay.

The location of this hotel is brilliant, only a 35 minute walk to the city centre and it is a very pretty scenic route. The staff at this hotel were very friendly and provided good customer service, always greeted us with a smile. We had a complimentary room upgrade for a special occasion and they even made swans from our towels which was a lovely touch. The room was spacious enough and the shower was a good size, the room was clean, we were able to mirror our phones to the television to watch Netflix etc. The only issue we occurred was that the air con appeared to not work very well, however we had large windows in our room that we could open so we did this instead.

Excellent hotel and room for a family trip. Staff always friendly, room cleaned daily. Can not fault it. Nicely situated close to everything you'd need - supermarkets, restaurants, bars and tram stops. I wouldn't hesitate staying here again.

5 minutes by tram from the centre of Amsterdam (100m from the stop), or a brisk 30 minute walk. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Not too big, but not too small, either. Friendly, helpful staff. Very reasonably priced. Most of the main tourist attractions can be reached on foot.
