M2M是挪威双人女子歌唱组合，由玛丽特·拉森和玛丽安·雷文组成。
1998年与大西洋唱片公司签约，并为日本动画电影《神奇宝贝剧场版：超梦的逆袭》献唱主题曲《Don't Say You Love Me》，2000年发行首张录音室专辑《Shades of Purple》，单曲和专辑分别获得挪威斯派曼音乐奖“年度最佳歌曲”和“最佳流行专辑”两项提名。2002年发行第二张录音室专辑《The Big Room》，2002年获得MTV亚洲音乐大奖“最佳流行表现”提名。该组合于2002年解散。
玛莉特和玛丽安相识于1990年，由于对音乐的喜爱，两人成了好朋友， 并常在一起为家人及朋友表演。五岁时，她们成立了一个乐队。
1996年3月，M2M发行首张儿童专辑《Synger Kjente Barnesanger》，专辑获得斯派曼音乐奖“最佳儿童专辑”提名，当时她们的团名是“Marit & Marion”。
1998年7月，M2M与大西洋唱片公司签约，与制作人一同创作动画电影《神奇宝贝剧场版：超梦的逆袭》主题曲《Don't Say You Love Me》，该歌曲收录在电影的同名原声带专辑，登上挪威、丹麦、泰国、印度、新加坡、菲律宾、朝鲜、澳大利亚等地的无线电台排行榜冠军。
2000年3月，M2M发行首张录音室专辑《Shades of Purple》。同年2月，M2M凭借《Don't Say You Love Me》和《Shades of Purple》获得第29届挪威斯派曼“年度最佳歌曲”和“最佳流行专辑”奖提名。
2001年1月，M2M录制第二张专辑《The Big Room》，该专辑于2002年3月发行。同年4月，大西洋唱片与M2M解约，M2M宣布解散。2003年，M2M发行首张精选集《The Day You Went Away：The Best of M2M》。
M2M was a Norwegian pop music duo comprising Marion Raven and Marit Larsen. Raven and Larsen had been friends since the age of five, and formed their first band when they were eight. They released a children's album under the name "Marion & Mariot", which was nominated for a Spellemannprisen award when they were 12. They later changed their name to M2M and were signed to Atlantic Records in 1998. M2M were frequently praised for writing most of their songs and performing their own instruments, something which was considered to set them aside from the majority of teen pop music artists.
Their debut single, ‘Don't Say You Love Me’ (1999), was both a critical and commercial success, and remained their biggest hit. Their debut album, ‘Shades of Purple’ (2000), was critically acclaimed and sold over 1.5 million units worldwide. Despite critical acclaim, their second album, ‘The Big Room’ (2002), did not perform as well commercially, and the duo broke up the year of its release, with each pursuing a solo career. A 'best of' album, ‘The Day You Went Away: The Best of M2M’ (2003) was released after they disbanded. M2M sold over 2 million albums.

今天偶然听到虾米推送M2M的这首《The day you went away》旋律好熟悉，突然想起中学时候前桌女生带着耳机听歌，我问她喜欢什么歌，怂恿她唱来听听，她突然很害羞，低着头，用很小的声音唱了一首歌，很好听。
一直不知道歌名，今天顺手搜了一下，原来叫《第一次爱的人》……

读大学的最后两年，从2000年到2002年，几乎可以说我们许多女生宿舍一定会有窈窕美眉的头两盘最畅销专辑的卡带！[天使][笑脸][大小眼][大小眼]就算暴露年龄也无妨[笑]！那时MP3都不是完全普及开呢，更别说智能手机随时连线听歌，卡带,索尼walk man，和CD机就是听音乐的标配。嗯，在家再给CD机安一个扩音器。这个组合当时刚出道才10几岁，觉得她们很甜美很可爱，声音完全不同于当时的欧美女团的那种大气风，而是非常甜蜜的小女生风，顿时很符合自己的小女孩心思的可爱，而且M2M的英语发音吐字十分清楚。虽然她们是瑞典人。M2M的歌是我当时学习英文的不二的好选择[大小眼]
