Accidental futility of Error Codes
No question the induction of electronic components in major appliances has allowed manifacturers to fine tune utilization of these devices and optimize their performance. On the other side of the coin adverse effects of residual electiriciy inadvertently finding its way to any capacitor on a printed circuit board often results in producing a futile error code displayed in the control panel of the appliance. Resetting the appliance resolves these oddball issues. However should the error persist, then services of an authorized technician will be required as there is an obvious problem with the appliance.
Note :
F2 error code on a range pertains to the oven temperature
sensor also known as the thermistor. F2 indicates thermistor has
short-circuited therefore not operational. It does not necessarily imply the
thermistor is at fault. The wiring harness might be at cause. A qualified
service technician will need to have a look, determine faulty part then replace
or repair it.
