This list distributes, to the active maintainers of BASH (the Bourne Again SHell), bug reports and fixes for, and suggestions for improvements in BASH.

Always report the version number of the operating system, hardware, and bash (flag -version on startup or check the variable $BASH_VERSION in a
running bash).

The [email protected] is a different list for discussion of bash and shell programming. If in doubt, post there first.

General questions and discussion about GNU utilities may also be conducted on [email protected].
