Effective 15th July, 2022, all entry COVID-19 testing requirements have been revoked. Travellers
are no longer required to provide upon entry
:
a RT-PCR or approved antigen SARS CoV-2 negative test result no later than 48 hours;
or a Recovery Certificate from a licensed medical professional certifying COVID-19 recovery within 90 days prior to arrival in place of a negative test.
Travellers are no longer required to be screened upon arrival for the COVID-19 virus.
Travellers are urged take appropriate precautions to prevent the infection of the virus where necessary such as general sanitisation and hand washing measures. The wearing of face masks/coverings are no longer mandated by law, but are allowed as a matter of choice in public spaces, or as a policy of a business place or other establishment.
Persons who are ill or suspect that they may have COVID-19 or have been exposed to the virus, must be tested and should self-isolate for a period of seven days. Persons are allowed to move freely within the Territory if tested negative at the end of the seven-day isolation period or after a full 10 days of self-isolation without being tested. Travel Documentation
All travellers to the Virgin Islands are required to have the below listed documents prior to travel in order to facilitate a smooth transition via Immigration Officers. Travellers should review their specific case base on the categories below:
What to Expect Upon Arrival?
Upon arrival, travellers are expected to present all required documents to an Immigration Officer, as well as any information that may be requested in relation to their status and travels.
Travellers are also expected to answer any questions related to their travel documents and stay in the Virgin Islands.
Additional Notes
Travellers desirous of entering the Territory without a valid passport should seek permission prior to entry from the Immigration Department. Their request must clearly outline the particulars surrounding them not having a valid document, their status in the Virgin Islands, if any, and their purpose for entering.
