ERROR displayed is as follows:

HTTP status 404
Message: /monitoring/domainOverview/

Product Overview
The origin server did not find a current representation for the target resource or is not willing to disclose that one exists.

Cause
This issue is usually observed when monitoring.war is corrupted or invalid.

Solution
1) For Solution, enter CR with a Workaround if a direct Solution is not available. 2) For HOW TO, enter the procedure in steps. 3) For FAQ, keep your answer crisp with examples. 4) For Whitepaper, keep the content conceptual.

To resolve this issue, perform the following steps:

1. Shut down the Informatica Domain.

Run the below command under this location $INFA_HOME/tomcat/bin in the IDQ server to shut down the domain:
./ infaservice.sh shutdown


2. Perform a Tomcat cleanup (Refer KB 501418) and clear the Internet Browser cache.

3. Take a backup and delete invalid file <INFA_HOME>/services/AdministratorConsole/webapps/monitoring.war

4. Copy the file from the installer location:

<10.4_installer>\source\services\AdministratorConsole\webapps\monitoring.war_bkp

<INFA_HOME>/services/AdministratorConsole/webapps and rename it as monitoring.war

Check that this file is of non-zero size.

5. Start the Informatica Domain. Run the below command under this location $INFA_HOME/tomcat/bin in the IDQ server to start the domain:

./ infaservice.sh startup
