Docker pull from standalone registry fails with "unauthorized: authentication required".

Issue

Standalone registry is configured to allow anonymous users to pull the images. Still docker pull from standalone registry fails with "unauthorized: authentication required".

# docker pull docker-registry-default.example.com/project/image:latest
Trying to pull repository docker-registry-default.example.com/project/image ... 
Get https://docker-registry-default.example.com/v2/project/image/manifests/latest: unauthorized: authentication required
