The International Conference on Formal Linguistics (ICFL) is a biennial international event organized by the Chinese Association of Formal Linguistics, which is affiliated with China Association for Comparative Studies of English and Chinese. First launched in 2001, the conference has become a leading forum in China attracting scholars from all over the world to exchange new ideas and research findings in formal linguistics.
ICFL-10 invites submissions of abstracts on all topics in the field of formal linguistics, including (but not limited to) syntax, semantics, phonology, morphology, language acquisition, language processing, and biolinguistics. This year, the central theme for the conference is “Language Diversity and Explanatoriness of Linguistic Theories”. We especially encourage submissions from graduate students and early career scholars.
