The original name of Xi Shi teapot was also called "Wendan teapot". According to Wu Meiding's "Yang Xian Ming Hu Fu", the elegant style of "Wen Dan Hu" was originally called "Xi Shi Breast". In fact, this teapot style is indeed like the plump breasts of a very beautiful girl. The button of the teapot is like a nipple. The spout of the teapot is short and thick. Due to the name "Xishi breast" was indecent, therefore as times goes by the name is changed to "inverted Xishi teapot" with the shape of inverted ears on the handle of the teapot.
