With the Kia Connect App ² accessibility to your car has never been simpler. Use your smartphone to sync travel plans to your navigation system, track current location, access diagnostic reports or schedule home charging . It also gives you access to Kia Connect Live Services ³ with information about the weather, traffic and more on the 10.25" display.

The wide high-definition touchscreen is easy on the eyes and fingers. Split it to use up to three apps e.g. map, weather and music. Bluetooth® multi-connection lets occupants connect two mobile devices at once, as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto ⁵

Enjoy an exceptional listening experience on every journey. The new Kia XCeed JBL Premium Sound System features 8 speakers and advanced Clari-Fi™ music restoration ¹⁰ technology, and enhances MP3 quality for a deep and authentic sound throughout your car. Available on the GT-Line S only.

No need for cables. Just put your Qi-compatible smartphone on the pad and it will start charging your battery ¹² . And for all those with a charging cable to hand, the new XCeed now has type C fast-charging USB ports (1 at the front, 1 at the rear). Available on the GT-Line S only.

Highway Driving Assist (HDA) helps your XCeed maintain a safe distance to the vehicle ahead and keeps it centred in your lane. At the same time, it controls steering, acceleration and deceleration, while the Curve function (NSCC-C) uses navigation data to recognise an upcoming curve on the road. When approaching the curve, the system automatically reduces the cruising speed, then resumes your pre-set speed. Available only the GT-Line S DCT model.

SCC maintains the speed specified by you, the driver, and computes the relative position and speed of the vehicle ahead using its front-view camera and radar. The system controls acceleration and deceleration to make sure your Kia XCeed stops when the other vehicle ahead halts. And when it starts moving again, you will be able to too, by pressing the accelerator pedal or the cruise control button on the steering wheel. Available on DCT models only.

The Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA) system uses its windshield camera and rear corner radars to monitor the relative position and speed of other vehicles to the side or in your blind-spot zone. If it identifies a potential collision, the system will activate visual and audible alarms, and may even automatically intervene to keep you in your current lane and avoid danger. Available in the GT-Line S only.

When reversing out of a parking space or driveway, the radar-based Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA) system warns you with visual and audible alarms about any approaching traffic potentially crossing your path – and engages to avoid a potential collision when necessary. Available on the GT-Line S only.

This system notices if you’re losing concentration by monitoring the pattern of the steering wheel, acceleration and overall length of your journey. If your attention level seems low, it alerts you both visually and audibly. DAW+ also features a leading vehicle departure warning system that will alert you too if, for example, in traffic, the car in front of you drives away and you don’t move. Very smart.

Drive Mode Select

Tailor your driving experience by adjusting steering weight, throttle pedal responses, and – for models equipped with dual-clutch transmissions – gear shift responses. Choose Normal mode for relaxed efficiency and fuel efficiency, or Sport mode for enhanced response and excitement. Available on DCT models only.

Advanced acoustics and suspension

Experience a new level of smoothness, peace and quiet. By reducing road noise absorption in the body, adding extra insulation to the floor, and having quiet wheels, the new Kia XCeed tunes noise out for you. We have also tuned the exhaust for smoothness and optimised the suspension with new hydraulic rebound stoppers.

Exclusively available to Kia drivers, Kia Charge gives you access to the IONITY Power subscription, which unlocks the best value when charging within IONITY’s UK and European network of high-power EV charging stations. The solution also provides access to no less than 23 UK networks, including bp pulse, Pod Point and many more across 28 other European countries. Use Kia Charge to plan journeys with charging stops, consult station information and view pricing. All your expenses are consolidated in one monthly invoice so public charging has never been easier!

(1) 7 Year Warranty

Kia high voltage lithium ion battery-units in electric vehicles (EV), hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) are built to have a long life. These batteries are covered by the KIA warranty for a period of 7 years from initial registration or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. For low voltage batteries (48V and 12V) in mild-hybrid electric vehicles (MHEV), the Kia warranty covers a period of 2 years from initial registration regardless of mileage. For EVs and PHEVs only, Kia guarantees a 70% capacity of the battery. Capacity reduction of the battery in HEV and MHEV is not covered by the warranty. To minimize possible capacity reduction, consult the owner's manual. Kia warranty covers a period of 7 years from initial registration or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. The services are available free of charge for a period of seven years commencing on the day the vehicle is sold to the first owner of the vehicle, i.e. the point in time the initial purchase agreement becomes effective, and may be subject to change during that period. Details of operation and terms of use can be obtained on your vehicle’s head unit. Available On-Board Services might differ depending on your country. The Kia XCeed is compatible with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™. Android Auto™ is designed to work with Android phones running 5.0 (Lollipop) or higher. Apple CarPlay™ is available for iPhone 5 or newer models. Both systems feature voice control and allow the driver to keep their hands on the wheel and eyes on the road ahead at all times. Apple CarPlay™ is a trademark of Apple Inc. Android Auto™ and other marks are trademarks of Google Inc.

(5) Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) is an assistance system and does not relieve the driver from their responsibility to safely operate the vehicle at any time. The driver still has to adapt their driving behaviour to their personal driving capabilities, to the legal requirements and to the overall road and traffic conditions. FCA is not designed to drive the vehicle autonomously. For further information, please refer to the owner’s manual.
