1997年毕业于西安交通大学，获博士学位。现为南京大学电子科学与工程学院信息电子学系教授，“信号与信息处理”学硕专业硕士生导师、“电子与通信工程”专硕专业硕士生导师，中国电子学会生物医学电子学分会委员,江苏省生物医学工程学会常务理事，生物医学信号检测与处理专业委员会前任主任委员。近年主要在智能信息处理及生物医学电子学交叉领域开展研究，主攻胎儿心电图技术，取得了显著成果。先后主持国家自然基金面上项目3项，江苏省科技支撑计划社会发展项目1项，横向合作项目20余项，以第1作者或通讯作者发表论文百余篇，其中SCI收录20余篇，以第1发明人申请发明专利近50项，其中获授权近30项，独立指导硕士生毕业50余人，协助指导博士生毕业5人。
